About Douglas Tracia
Before becoming a Financial Advisor and Lawyer, Douglas Tracia held several different roles during his diverse professional career. Working in the restaurant industry and as a Teacher and Coach, Douglas Tracia has strived to utilize his talent and dedication in the service of his employers.
Douglas Tracia’s background in the food industry includes managing inventory, supervising restaurant staff, performing cost analysis, and maintaining quality customer service. He has served as a Waiter and as a Bartender, with extensive expertise in mixing and serving drinks. He also possesses experience in cooking, food preparation and making pizzas. Since 1975, Douglas Tracia has periodically acted as a Bartender and Waiter for La Cantina Italiana, as well as other restaurants in the greater Framingham area. While he was studying for his law degree and the bar examination, Douglas Tracia also worked several shifts a week at Papa Razzi in Boston. In 2009, Douglas Tracia worked nearly full-time as a Waiter at The Chateau Andover. Each of these positions gave Douglas Tracia valuable experience in leadership and management.
Since receiving his undergraduate degree in English and Physical Education, Douglas Tracia has also dedicated much of his time to teaching and coaching. He has professionally coached for several basketball, tennis, volleyball, baseball, and softball teams. He has also worked as an Umpire for Little League, Babe Ruth League, and Senior Level baseball games. In addition to coaching, Douglas Tracia also acted as the Physical Education Coordinator at numerous public schools where he taught, frequently organizing after school sports and gymnasium activities. During school hours, Douglas Tracia instructed students in the Massachusetts Public School System, teaching a variety of English and writing classes. After receiving his Juris Doctor, Douglas Tracia served as a part-time Instructor of legal writing, criminal law, and paralegal studies at North Shore Community College in Beverly, Massachusetts.
